Larry Dale (Old Goat) Edwards, of Shallowater, passed from this life Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was born into this life Friday, December 24, 1943 to H.E. and Nell Marie (Fowler) Edwards in Floydada. Larry Dale Larry Dale served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He met Judy Marie McCurdy in Plainview; they were married Thursday, June 6, 1965 in Floydada. They were blessed with three daughters, Donna, Christine, and Regina. Larry Dale was a self-employed residential contractor; for relaxing, he enjoyed fishing. He was referred to, by family and friends, as “old goat.”

Larry Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, of 38 years, Judy Marie Edwards. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Fair, Christine Logan, and Gina Edwards; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and four brothers, Benny, Danny, Dennis, and Eddie.
