Obituary

RueAnn Anctil, age 63, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on February 17, 2023. She was born
on November 20, 1959, in Corning, Iowa. RueAnn was the daughter of William Donald and
Norma Jean (Benson) Behrends. RueAnn grew up in Mesa, Arizona, where she graduated high
school in 1977.
On March 28, 1982, RueAnn married Marc Anctil in Mesa, Arizona. Shortly after their marriage,
they moved to Massachusetts. They later divorced.
RueAnn worked for Premier Coach in West Rutland, Vermont for 35 years as a tour bus driver.
Most recently, she drove for Citibus in Lubbock, Texas.
RueAnn loved driving busses and getting to know all her co-workers, passengers and tour
directors she worked with. Several of her tour directors from around the world stayed in close
contact with her, sharing news and pictures of themselves and their family members.
RueAnn did not know a stranger. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. RueAnn
loved to travel all over the country. She especially loved Wyoming, where she spent many
family vacations during her childhood.
Her family includes her sister Cheri Kinney of Chandler, Arizona, nephews Clifford and
Christopher, many cousins and close friends and her beloved cat, Sonny.
RueAnn was preceded in death by her parents.
As was RueAnns' wishes, her body will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life held at a
later date.
