Kenneth Doyle Rogers

Kenneth Doyle Rogers, 84, was born on November 8, 1934 and passed away on April 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Patricia Ann Conly Rogers, whom he shared 57 wonderful and laughter filled years of marriage.

He served many years at Apache Transmission, where he retired in 2002. He was an active member of Southcrest Baptist Church for the last 15 years, where he was the smiling face that would greet its members every Sunday.

He is survived by 2 sisters, 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren, as well as their spouses, all of whom loved and cherished him dearly. He had unconditional love and a beaming pride for his family and it showed even in the very last moments of his life. He was an avid Texas Tech fan and it was rare if you saw him not wearing red and black. He will be remembered and cherished as a Christ-like, loving, hardworking, dedicated, faithful, and joyful man.

Viewing will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at Agape Funeral Chapel located at 6625 19th Street, Unit 103. Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11:00am at Resthaven located at 5740 19th Street. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lubbock Hospitality House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, as their care of him in his final days were above and beyond expectation
