Tammy Maxine (Matney) Davis

Tammy Maxine Matney Davis was born August 8, 1957 in Andrews, TX to Lavoy (Bug) Matney and Evelyn Johnson Matney. She passed away May 30, 2019 in Lubbock, TX. She lived her life in the Lubbock area. She was a loving Wife, Sister, Mother, Granny, and Friend. When she met a stranger they never stayed that way for long. She would give you the shirt off her back even if it was her only one. She smiled through all life’s ups and downs and wouldn’t let anyone tell her she couldn’t do something.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Davis. Her son, Brice Sellers and wife Nicole. Her daughter, Angela Sellers. Her step-children Kandie Williams, Keith Wilson and wife Lynette, Krystal Zaczek and husband Jay, Aric Davis and wife Melissa. Her grandchildren, Darlene Sellers, Garrett Sellers, Joseph Acker, Jacob Acker, Nolan Cruz, Hannah Cockerell, Hunter Cockerell, Michael Zaczek, Allison Zaczek, Haley Davis and Zane Davis . Her sister Shirley Collins and husband Charles. Her sister in love Sandie Krieger. Her brother Doug Matney and wife Cathy and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Lavoy (Bug) Matney, mother Evelyn Johnson Matney Grant, step-father David Grant, sisters Margaret Branch and Deborah Matney, brothers Benny Jack Krieger and Delbert (Buster) Matney. We know there was a heavenly celebration when she arrived.
