Beatrice Ruzicka

A funeral service for Beatrice Ruzicka, 85, of Lubbock is scheduled for 1PM Wednesday July 6, 2022, under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel with Larry Beseda officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday July 5, 2022 from 5 to 7PM at Agape Funeral Chapel.
Bea was born in Amarillo on January 29, 1937 to Bert and Elzie Darland. She married Jerry Ruzicka on August 19, 1957. She raised kids and helped Jerry run the County Line Gin in Morton for a number of years.
Bea also worked for Preston Milk Store as a manager for over 30 years which most of her customers would refer to as "Bea's Store". Numerous people have said that they looked for Bea's Store for years before they realized it was Preston's Milk Store that Bea worked at. 
After she retired she then had the best job in the world - being there for her grandkids. She would be at every school event, pick them up from school and even have them over every summer. That's not including the days in between when you would see grandkids at Beat and Jerry's house almost every day. 
Bea is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Ruzicka; her parents; one son Mark; two sisters Donna Nesbitt and Lavon Sullivan. She is survived by her three sons Paul, Thomas and John of Lubbock; sister Berta Combs of Muleshoe; 4 grandsons Michael, Mark, Jon "Tommy" Ruzicka and Jayson Pendleton; 6 granddaughters Jordan, Rebecca, Gracie and Rachel Ruzicka, Allison DeBusk and Sara Stapp; 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
