Brenda Wells

A Memorial Service for Brenda Gail Wells will be Saturday, July 9th, 2022, at 10 a.m. at The Heights Fellowship Church.  It is located at 6108 66th Street, Lubbock, TX with Pastor Mike Martindale officiating.  Brenda wished for her remains to be cremated and buried alongside her Daddy and Mama in Wilson, TX.

She died on June 26, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  She was born on January 3rd, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to G.M.  and Lois Wells. 

Brenda had a very strong work ethic and worked diligently as a Certified Medical Assistant / Certified Allergy Tech.  She loved taking care of her patients.  Right after her graduation from Monterey High in 1972, she started working for Dr. Tennie Mae Lunceford for many years until Dr. Lunceford retired in 1995, who then sold her practice to Dr. Everett Paul Stewart.  Dr. Stewart retired in 2000 and sold his practice to Dr. Rodney Franklin, where Brenda worked until her retirement due to medical disability in 2010.  Brenda was known as a good and kind person to many people.  Her first loves were her dogs.  She had several throughout her lifetime and they always came first for her.  She spent her lifetime always looking out and taking care of others first. She will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. She leaves behind her legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.  She was truly a special person and earned her wings many years ago.  She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, G.M. Wells and her mother, Lois Fisher Wells.  She is survived by her sister, Marsha Hamlin and husband, David Hamlin, nephew, Brian Hamlin, niece, Caitlyn Hamlin, great nephew, Austin Hamlin and great niece Krystalyne Hamlin.
