Gabriel Gomez Sr.

Gabriel Gomez Sr., 67, of Lubbock left us on Monday, August 8th, 2022, at home.

He was born December 27th, 1954, to Juan and Rebecca of Lubbock.

Gabriel was a hardworking man who believed in taking care of his family. The love he had for his family was uncalculatable. He was a God-fearing man, who will be missed very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Gomez; brothers, Juan Gomez; Izzy Gomez; sister, Rosa Salazar; and 2 grandchildren, Ethan Pena and Chad Roach.

He is survived by his wife Alice Gomez of Lubbock; his mother Rebecca Gomez of Lubbock; siblings, Romiro Gomez, Lubbock; Leo Gomez, Midland; and sister Irene Gomez of Lubbock; 4 children, Theresa Enriquez, Longview; Jessica Orona, Longview; Rebecca Gomez, Longview; and Gabriel Gomez of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren, Lee Ann Garza, Utah; Maria Hinojos, Florida; Nathan Gomez, Lubbock; Jazmine Swindall, Lubbock; Kendra Orona, Texarkana; Jason Swindall, Lubbock; Alicia Orona, Longview; Charisse Swindall, Lubbock; Mandy Pena, Lubbock; Grace Pena, Lubbock; Xandria Pena, Lubbock; Ryel Gomez, Lubbock; Aria Gomez, Lubbock, Brenda Garza and Jesus Hinojos of Utah.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Agape Funeral Home on Wed. August 17th, 2022, at 10 A.M. Burial services will preside at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Gomez, Nathan Gomez, Ryel Gomez, Ramiro Gomez, Josh Gomez, and Charles Francis. Pastor Rudy Cervantez will be officiating.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, August 16th from 5-7 P.M. and Wednesday morning services, Aug. 17th at 10 A.M.
