Harold Callison Obituary

Harold Callison died peacefully in his home on September 18th in Lubbock, TX at the age of 81.

Harold is survived by his companion and best friend, Margaret; siblings, Pat, Nadine, Virginia, Frank, John, and Shirley; children, Timmie, Virginia, Joann, Julie, David, and Adam; grandchildren, Aiden, Aaron, Matthew, Gianna, Joshua, Gabbi, Alexis, Lizeth, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren Landon, Jameson, Logan, and Elias.  He is preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Maggie; sister Betty; brothers James, L.B., and Lowell.

Harold was born on February 25th in Checotah, OK to William and Maggie. He joined the Air Force after high school and served honorably. Harold married Margaret in 1979. After moving to Lubbock, he began working for Industrial Molding as a mold operator.  His children remember Harold as a loving and forgiving father who encouraged them along their journeys.

Harold was an avid billiards player and often played in and won tournaments. He was also a free spirit who loved to sing and play guitar, and was passionate about baseball and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10am, Saturday, September 25th at Lubbock Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Harold’s life.  Flowers can be sent to Agape Funeral Home.
