Jimmie Ray Gibbens, 70, of Lubbock, passed away on January 02, 2022 surrounded by family.
Jimmie was born on September 04, 1951 in San Antonio, TX to Jerry Gibbens and Mae Bradley.
He worked as an auto mechanic for many years and enjoyed country living after retirement. He had a strong love for dogs and had a passion for rescuing strays. He will be missed for his gentle spirit, unforgettable laugh, light heartiness, compassion and his overall love of life.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Jerry Gibbens and Mae Bradley. He is survived by his children Crystal Gibbens, Christopher Wickman and Mitch Simmons of Lubbock, TX; Martina Gibbens of Denver, CO; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services for Jimmie will be on Friday January 21, 2022 at 3PM at Agape Funeral Chapel.
