Kristi Rose White

Kristi Rose White, age 42, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 after a sudden illness. She was born December 2, 1980, in Lubbock, TX, and lived there for most of her life. She graduated from Coronado High School and attended South Plains College.  Kristi served her community through a career in home healthcare.  She touched many lives through her dedication, expertise, and beautiful voice. Her employer Cornerstone Caregiving selected her, out of all of the company’s national employees, as the 2022 Cornerstone Caregiver of the Year. Kristi had an infectious laugh and bubbly personality, and she shared her big heart with friends, family, and, most of all, her precious son Micah.  

Kristi was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Phillip White, Jr. in 2020. Surviving family members that will cherish her memory include her son, Micah White of Lubbock, TX; her mother Barbara White of Lubbock, TX; her siblings, Kay Vugrin and husband Eric of Albuquerque, NM; Travis White and wife Victoria of Rio Rancho, NM; Kerri Neely and husband Brad of Hobbs, NM; seven beloved nieces and nephews, and many other treasured extended family members. 

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, March 4 at 4 pm at Agape Funeral Chapel. A private interment will take place at a later date at the Slaton Englewood Cemetery.  The family encourages donations in Kristi’s memory to Hospice of Lubbock.
