Louis Rivera

Mr. Louis Rivera, son of the late Manuel G. Rivera and Juanita A. Rivera. Louis was born on September
10 th , 1956, in Napoleon, Ohio.
Louis and Anita Calderon were married for 48 years after meeting in the summer of 1975. Louis Rivera
Jr. (Erika), Trinidad Rivera (Alizae), and Ayden Rivera are the children of this union, as are Angie Briones
(Matt), Deborah Rivera (Brooke), and Victoria Herrera (Marcos).
Louis spent many years working for Haden Signs of Texas until retiring four years ago, but he kept
himself busy with a range of hobbies that included both outdoor and indoor activities. He enjoyed
barbecuing, dancing, and listening to music, especially oldies, with his family. His love and presence will
be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is gone but not forgotten.
He passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. His late
brothers Rudy Rivera, Abraham Rivera, Manuel Rivera Jr., and Oscar Rivera preceded him in death.
His beautiful life will be remembered by his siblings: Dora Davila (Marc), Samuel Rivera (Matilde), and
surviving sister-in-laws Alberta Rivera and Gloria Rivera, as well as his grandchildren: LJ, Kris, Josh, Erik,
Victor, Maddi, Angelo, Syrus, Tryst’n, Aniah and six great-grandchildren: Averee, Maddy, Zaylee, Kaine,
Xavriie Matthias, Xaillah, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
