Margaret “DeDe” Mitchell made it home to our Heavenly Father Sunday, August 21st, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. DeDe was born June 6th, 1948, in El Paso, TX to the late Dennis George Burnette Jr. and Margaret Mayfield Biship.
DeDe married the love of her life, Roger James Mitchell immediately after graduating from Lubbock High School on June 23rd, 1966. DeDe enjoyed various crafts, studying the Bible, family gatherings, watching the Hallmark channel, going on road trips with her brother, and serving others in need with anything from a haircut, a ride to a Dr.’s appointment, or just a kind word.
DeDe was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Roger J. Mitchell; parents, Dennis Jr. and Margaret Burnette; brother, Dennis Burnette III; and sister, Mary Williams.
