Maria Escamilla

Maria (Mary) Escamilla, 75 of Lubbock, Texas was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She passed away on July 10, 2022. She was born to Ramon Martinez and Andrea Molina on April 14, 1947 in Mathis, Texas.

She was married to the love of her life, Enos Escamilla on November 30, 1983. They have three children, Julie Curry of Lubbock, Texas. Patrick Prieto and his wife, Delilah of Crane, Texas, and Amanda Strickand and her husband, Anthony of Lubbock, Texas. She was loved by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In 2003 Mary retired from a successful career in the oil industry.  She was an avid gardener and would travel frequently to attend her children and grandchildren’s many activities.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ramon Martinez, her sister Lila Clark, and her niece Marissa Martinez. She was survived by her husband, Enos Escamilla, her mother, Andrea Molina, three children, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

Celebration of life will be held at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 19th Street, Monday, July 18th at 11 AM. Viewing will begin at 10 AM.
