Nathan Lee Emerson passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Slaton, TX. He was born to Michael and Kimmy Emerson on March 15, 1978 in Lubbock, TX. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1996 and joined the United States Marine Corps. During boot camp, he was chosen as the honor guard. After his graduation from boot camp, he married Rhonda Blair in November 1997. He is survived by his wife Rhonda and their two boys, Garrett and Carter, his parents, Mike and Kim Emerson, his sister, Krystal Holder and her husband, Wayne along with their sons, Tyler and Travis.
Nathan spent many years working in the field of graphic design. During his career, some of his accomplishments were designing a logo for the city of Slaton, the signs for Texas Tech and the Museum of Texas Tech University. He was a strong family man and he enjoyed playing video games, fishing, camping and spending quality time with his family. He was a great mentor for young people and really took pleasure in making others laugh. He faced many challenges in life and endured all of them with a positive outlook.
