Stephanie Richards

On April 15, 2021 Stephanie Richards left her earthy body and passed into eternal life. After a battle with bladder cancer, she spent her final days surrounded by family and caring hospice team. Stephanie was born in Michigan on May 15, 1946.

Her life was spent in service to others. As a math and chemistry teacher she worked in a variety of settings including parochial schools, Indianapolis School for the Blind, homeschool coops, Detroit Public Schools, and Lubbock High. She and her husband Bill spent many hours volunteering at church and at nursing homes. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandsons. She loved hearing their music practice and always supplied favorite snacks. Stephanie will be remembered for strong faith, peaceful spirit and love for others.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary, father Joseph and brother John. She is survived by her husband Bill, sister Aggie, daughter Melissa, son-in-law Ben, and grandsons Samuel, Aiden and Christopher as well as nieces and nephews.
